Even through our darkest waters, we carry within us the strength to rise.

The greatest victories are won within.

Ocean Empress

The creation of Ocean Empress unfolded over four years, shaped by the changing circumstances of my own life. There were times when her creation was set aside, but as I navigated challenges, confronted fears, and discovered new strength within myself, she too began to transform. Each time I returned to her, I brought something of who I had become. What began as a sculpture gradually evolved into a reflectionof my own journey of healing, resilience, and personal growth.

Ocean Empress is a warrior of the inner world—a symbol of courage, resilience, and the strength found through embracing one's true self.

Ocean Empress is not a warrior without fear, but one who has learned to move through it.

Armed with determination, she navigates the depths of her own darkness, confronting the fears and illusions that once held her captive. Each storm she endures becomes part of her transformation, guiding her toward freedom, healing, and a deeper understanding of her own power.

The natural pearls adorning her body symbolize the battles she has faced and overcome. Each carries a story of tears, courage, and perseverance—experiences that have shaped the warrior she has become.
