Spirit Horses

Each horse has been individually handcrafted and undergone an atmospheric firing process using an aluminum foil saggar technique. Once the horses have been bisque fired, they are then painted with ferric chloride, wrapped with aluminum foil and placed in a kiln to be fired with a tiger torch. Once brought to temperature and cooled, the aluminum foil is then peeled off to reveal an authentic one of a kind finish with beautiful patterns and colors. The horses are then finished with sand embellishments and real horse hair to complete the vision.
